Senior Project Manager – IT and Business Integration
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead IT and business integration projects within the workplace benefits and financial integration domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong business analysis skills and a proven track record of managing complex IT integration projects, including SAP to Workday conversions. This role requires deep expertise in IT and business process alignment to drive seamless integrations that support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully deliver IT and business integration projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models, as appropriate.
- Oversee end-to-end system integration activities, ensuring compatibility, performance, and efficiency.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to gather, document, and prioritize requirements.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define integration strategies and align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Work closely with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to streamline integration efforts.
Technical Integration & Implementation:
- Manage and oversee SAP to Workday conversions, ensuring data integrity, system compatibility, and process optimization.
- Coordinate with ERP, HRIS, and finance teams to facilitate smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Drive process optimization initiatives and recommend best practices for IT-business integration.
- Implement performance tracking mechanisms to measure integration success and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in financial and workplace benefits integration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Technical & Functional Expertise:
- 10+ years of project management experience in IT and business integration.
- Strong experience in enterprise system integrations, especially SAP to Workday.
- Deep understanding of financial integration, HRIS systems, and ERP solutions.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Experience with business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering.
Project & Stakeholder Management:
- Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale integration projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives and senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex IT concepts into business terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Experience in workplace benefits, financial services, or HR technology.
- Familiarity with Workday, SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies, cloud-based integrations, and API-based connectivity.
